Children's Ministry Mission Statement
The JKPC children's ministry team strives to
build a faith that grows. The children learn
God's word, share God's love,
experience God's grace, talk to God through prayer, praise God through song
and come to a deeper relationship with Christ.
Parable
Quest Summer Sunday School
Each Sunday during Summer our pre-school - 5th grade kids will explore a
different parable of Jesus. There will be lots of games and crafts too. Nursery Care is available for little ones,
and we also have a Cry Room behind the Sanctuary where parents can still
both see & hear the service.
Vacation Bible School -- July 19-23
Leap into the fun this summer at JKPC’s Vacation Bible School! Your kids
will enjoy a week of adventure filled with tropical treats, swinging music,
colorful crafts & jungle activities!! More importantly, your kids will hop
away with God’s Word in their hearts! The theme this year is an adventure filled with
tropical treats, swinging music, colorful crafts and jungle activities. Yes,
SonQuest Rainforest Bible School i

July 19-23 from 9 till noon. Carnival will be Sunday, July 18 and the VBS Sunday will be July
25.
SonQuest carnival Sunday, July 18th after Church, features a bounce house, a cake walk, carnival games, water games and crafts. Everyone is welcome to join the fun.
SonQuest VBS Musical, open house and all Church BBQ -- Sunday, July 25. This is always a big Sunday for JKPC. Last year over 300 people attended! During worship the VBS kids will share songs and lessons they have learned. After Church you can check out the decorated classrooms. Then head towards the all-Church BBQ presented by the Deacons!
VBS Jungle Guides Needed!
VBS is not just for kids! Adult & High School volunteers are needed in all areas: teaching, crafts, snack prep, baking, skits, recreation, and more! Contact Jungle Guides Kim Kraft or Nancy Polcyn to sign up and share the summer fun.
VBS Staff Meeting
All staff need to attend the final planning meeting. It will be Thursday, July 15 from 9:30 to 11.
Westminster Woods Summer Camp
Once again we thank everyone for their generous support through our camp fundraisers. Nine elementary-school-aged kids attended the camp and each camper was able to receive $80 to help offset camp fees.
Sweetpea Beauty -- Veggie Tales Screening
Saturday, July 31 from 4-5:30 in
the Fellowship Hall theater.
Once upon a time there lived a royally sour blueberry, a fair rhubarb maiden and a dastardly deceptive mirror. The Veggies are back with a fairy-tale twist to teach us that it's what's on the inside that matters most! Plus, we'll see the "almost classic" tale of Snoodlerella! Popcorn and juice will be served. All are welcome to attend this free event.
