Outreach

To discover and meet the needs of people in the Tri-Valley community so that we can earn the right to share our faith, plant the seeds of God’s love, and allow the Holy Spirit to bring people into God’s Kingdom.

Goals:

Encourage congregation to participate in outreach opportunities
Partner w/individuals/committees/ministries to fulfill our mission
Help other ministries incorporate outreach into their programs/events (i.e. Invite a neighbor to a church event)

Habitat for Humanity

Join us as we help others in the community enjoy the American dream -- their own homes! We hold annual workdays:

A team of JKPC volunteers, of all ages (16 years old or older) and skill levels (none needed), spend the day in an Oakland development helping to build homes for families in need. Although requirements vary from development to development, all Habitat East Bay homeowners demonstrate the following:

Need for housing
Consistent, low income
Willingness to partner with Habitat for Humanity East Bay
Family size
