Women’s Ministry’s mission is to bring women of all ages together in Christian fellowship and service. Women's Ministry has enjoyed regular events to bring women of all ages together to laugh, learn, and serve together.

Women’s Ministry - The purpose of the Women’s Ministry is to have women of all ages come together and help each other grow in our Christian faith and responsibility through fellowship, study, prayer and service.  We host a variety of activities which include monthly fellowship programs, our Litwits book club that meets monthly and begins with a social time and potluck, and our annual retreat.  There is one Bible study group offered for women only and each year we have an ongoing service project.  It is our hope that with the variety of activities we plan, everyone will find something that appeals to them and join us! Please check our online calendar for more specific information.

There is a special "Get in the Sprit Christmas Tea" fundraiser on November 21 to benefit the Children's Emergency Food Bank. Click here for more information.

The current service project for Women’s Fellowship is Blankets for Kids.  We are going into our 5th year supporting this worthwhile organization. This year the Women's Ministry Committee voted to donate $200 for fabric. As of September, 2009 we have donated 410 blankets.  Blankets for Kids donates fleece blankets to community service people who in turn give them to children in need of a warm cuddly.  These are children who for a variety of reasons have been removed from their homes, or have lost their homes in tragic circumstances.  We love supporting this project. While we have lots of women making the blankets, we would like to make a plea for funding to buy more blanket fabric.  We always take a lot of cut blanket fabric to the women’s retreat for the women to work on while we are at the retreat.  We need monetary donations so that we can buy more fabric so we can continue this very worthwhile project.

Last year we donated over $200 and countless care package items to the Blue Star Moms who in turn support our troops serving overseas.

Women's Ministry hosts bible studes such as LIFT - Ladies in Fellowship Together, an annual retreat and SWELL.

SWELL (Single Women Enjoying Living Life) provides a connection to God through the JKPC church family and extended church community. Group events are hosted in private homes. The next meeting will be announced shortly.
