Women’s Retreat Mission Project & Scholarship Update

Blankets for Kids Project -
Thanks so much for your donations, between retreat donations and a special donation from the San Ramon Soroptomists Club, we purchased fabric, which volunteers prepped in advance, then retreat attendees
finished tying them. A total of 96 blankets were delivered to Jo Molz of Blankets for Kids. She sent her sincere thanks, “Without...you, we would not be able to supply many blankets and other items to the abused and neglected children. We know that the children roll themselves up in our blankets to protect them from outside influences. So, therefore, these blankets help and comfort these children in need.”

An update on Retreat Scholarships -
Through your generosity and some extra support from past women’s event proceeds, we were able to help scholarship five women for this year’s retreat. Having said this, I would ask you to prayerfully consider making a donation of any size to help replenish our scholarship fund. You can drop off a donation in the office or the offering plate. Just mark it “women’s retreat scholarship.” Thank you for your generosity.
