Missions
The Mission Committee of our church is charged with the support of numerous organizations in our community. These include:
American Red Cross - blood drives arranged at JKPC and local schools
Agape Villages - gifts to foster children and financial donations
Children's Emergency Council - donation of canned and non-perishable food items for distribution to those in need
Habitat for Humanity - donation of money and time to help build homes for people in the East Bay
Open Heart Kitchen - preparation and serving food to the hungry every 4th Tuesday of the month
Shepherd's Gate - donations of money and gifts to families as well as volunteer time at their thrift store
Tri Valley Haven - quarterly donation and participation in their annual Pace for Peace Walk/Run
Valley Crisis Pregnancy Center - donations and volunteer opportunities
World Vision - financial giving helps sponsor needy children around the world
Wycliffe Bible Translators - quarterly donation to this organization helps with the translation of the Bible into languages of the world
