Music Ministry
The John Knox Music Ministry offers people of all ages opportunities for the worship and celebration of God through music while providing an invaluable source of spiritual, social and artistic fulfillment.
At John Knox, music is a focal point of caring and sharing activities. You are invited into the enriching life of sacred music at our church. Listen here for a special tribute to Interim Pastor Tom Waddell during his final Sunday with us.
The Chancel Choir rehearses Thursdays from 7:30 to 9:00 PM.
The Adult Praise Team rehearses after church and on every second Wednesday evening
The Adult Bell Choir rehearses Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. Listen to them play Siyahamba during World Communion Sunday (October 7, 2007). They also played a special performance (below left) at St. Michaels and All Angels Episcopal Church during their 50th anniversary celebration.
Moovin’ Up!, Chimin’ Up!, and Sonbeams are under the direction of Children’s Ministries.
The Youth Praise Team is under the direction of the Youth Director.
Throughout the year, there are opportunities for artistic expression in many areas including the singing and ringing choirs, vocal and instrumental solos and ensembles. If you have talents to share through the arts ministry of John Knox we would like to hear from you. So please, contact us.
